Envirostruct credits a large component of its success to innovative practices which reduce financial and environmental costs. Envirostruct was recently awarded the Gold Coast City Councils Barge Services with Equipment, Labour, Aggregate Rock, Sand Soil and Turf contract based on such practices. Envirostruct management believed that the existing contract could be performed more efficiently by utilising larger barges, reducing cost and environmental impact and invested heavily in the design and construction of the vessel Enviro II to make these innovative ideas a reality for the Gold Coast City Council.
