The Landscape Design service offered by Envirostruct Services include the design and documentation of your landscapes. Included in this design process will be a concept plan, a detailed landscape plan, documentation of the plant species and landscape materials, a planting schedule and planting specifications. The Landscape Design process is split up into the following stages,
Stage 1 – Initial Consultation
In this stage the first consultation takes place. Discussed in this meeting will be the details of the style of landscape, preferred plant species, landscape materials and what features you would like included in the landscape design. If client is looking for new landscape to be designed in accordance with a set budget this will be discussed and landscape designer will design the new landscape in accordance with the budget depicted by client. Examples of garden styles, plant species and landscape materials will be presented to assist in clarifying the exact look you would like to achieve. A site visit and familiarisation with the surrounds, streetscapes and the architecture will also be included at this stage.
Stage 2 – Draft and Concept Stage
In this stage the concept plans are completed and presented to you. The plan will be described in detail and any changes that need to be made are discussed and outlined. This is the final approval stage for the draft plan.
Stage 3 – Final Plans
After the draft has been presented the final plans will be drawn up including any changes. The final plans will include the final working drawings of the landscape, plant and hard landscaping specifications including pictures, planting schedule (including plant quantities & recommended pot size) and planting and landscape specifications for construction. These final drawings will be presented to you with the final changes included.
Stage 4 – Construction Quote
Following the completion of the landscape plans a construction proposal is prepared for the installation of the works required.
Stage 5 – Council Application
Following the completion of the landscape plans and upon acceptance of the construction proposal an application, where required, is prepared for council.
